Java plug-in Test page

This page will test the Java version available from your browser to see whether it is 100% compatible with the MAPSIT system (MAPS Interactive Tool) and mostly to help you install Java if you don't have it installed already (Java is a free software available from Sun). The result is shown in the below frame :

Java Applet failed to load. Is Java enabled in your browser?

There are 4 possible results :

- If the message "YOUR JAVA VERSION IS OK" appears, then your system is compatible.
- If the message “Java Applet failed to load. Is Java enabled in your browser ?” appears, then you just have to enable Java in your browser from the menu "Edit/Preferences", section "Advanced", by checking the "Enable Java" option, and then reload this page (you might need to restart your browser). If you still have the same message (even with the checked "Enable Java" option), it means that you don't hava Java. Go then to the installation page.
- If a symbol like this one appears : No JAVA (or if nothing appears at all !!!), then, your browser (and system) is not Java enabled :
you have to install the Java-plugin for your system. Go to the installation page.

- If the message "YOUR JAVA VERSION IS NOT 100% COMPATIBLE" appears, then you can go on anyway like this but you may experience some issues. If you want a 100% compatible platform, please update your Java by going to the installation page.
